Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LumiQR, a static and branded QR code product operated by Lumika AI ("Lumika AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using LumiQR, you agree to these terms. If you use LumiQR for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

1. The service

LumiQR lets you create, customize, preview, export, and manage QR codes for packaging, print, merch, campaigns, and related use cases. Depending on whether you are signed in, the service may include saved projects, uploaded logos or art assets, QR Art workflows, bulk exports, and AI-assisted image generation features where available.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us at support@lumika.ai.

3. Your content and assets

You keep ownership of the content, QR destinations, uploaded images, logos, prompts, project names, and other materials you provide to LumiQR. You grant Lumika AI a limited license to host, process, store, reproduce, display, and modify those materials only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed for any content or assets you upload or generate through LumiQR.

4. QR codes and scan reliability

We design LumiQR to support scannable QR output, but scan performance can depend on the destination content, device, scanner app, print size, color contrast, surface material, lighting, damage, and other factors outside our control. You are responsible for testing QR codes before using them in production, packaging, print, merch, campaigns, or any other public distribution.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use LumiQR to create, distribute, or support phishing, malware, spam, fraud, illegal activity, deceptive destinations, privacy violations, harassment, infringing content, or content that violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, overload the service, scrape the service in a harmful way, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, or interfere with other users.

6. Current access and future changes

LumiQR is currently offered without charge. We may revisit how the service is offered in the future, including feature availability or usage limits. If any payment-based feature is introduced later, we will not charge you unless applicable terms are presented and you authorize payment.

7. Service changes and availability

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, limits, integrations, export options, or availability at any time. We may also suspend or stop access to the service where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, product changes, or misuse. We try to keep LumiQR useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. AI-assisted features

If AI-assisted image generation or similar features are available, outputs may be imperfect, unexpected, or similar to other content. You are responsible for reviewing generated materials and deciding whether they are appropriate for your use. Do not submit prompts or uploads that you do not have the right to use.

9. Termination

You may stop using LumiQR at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, or used LumiQR in a prohibited way. You can contact support@lumika.ai for account or data requests.

10. Disclaimers

LumiQR is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumika AI disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free output. We do not guarantee that any QR code, exported file, AI-generated image, or integration will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumika AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, campaign failure, print costs, or replacement costs arising from your use of LumiQR.

12. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated terms available through the service. Your continued use of LumiQR after an update means you accept the updated terms.
